Hi Claire - We would like to thank you for yet another fabulous skiing holiday, they just keep getting better every year!!! We also would like to say a big thankyou to Kim and Steve for their kind hospitality and great food, they did an amazing job!!!! The snow was fantastic and we all managed to get home in one piece. We hope we will have the opportunity to book again for next year we'll be in touch.

Hi Claire - Your place is absolutely beautiful and felt like a real home from home. There was more than enough space for us all. We've been to places before that say they accommodate 8, only to find that there isn't enough seats for everyone in the lounge area. This was not the case a Le Cochon Noir, everyone was warm and comfortable, with ample bathrooms to accommodate a hot shower/bath after a cold day on the slopes. The beds were very clean and comfortable too and it was a nice touch not to have to bring bedding and towels for everyone in an already bulging car! The little ones got excited when they saw how many dvd's you had but then spent the whole of their spare time sledging down the hill! ......Hours of fun! We would like to thank you again for helping make our New Year such a memorable one! Wishing you all the best for 2013.

Hi Claire - thank you very much for organising our holiday over xmas we had a fantastic time and Charlie and Kev were excellent hosts we had lovely meals and they were very hospitable. We were very lucky with the weather and snow conditions too. You all made a lovely effort with the xmas decorations and it was a very special break for us. I was particually pleased that my parents were able to enjoy the scenery and thanks to your suggestions they were able to get up the passenger lifts... I hope we will be able to come again with you at some time in the future.

Hi Claire, Just wanted to let you know we had an absolutely amazing weekend! The chalet was amazing, Kev was an absolute star and the skiing was fab too! Thanks so much for letting us book the chalet and giving us an amazing weekend break. We managed to ski 40 miles over the weekend, collected some bruises and came back very tanned!

Great holiday. Chalet les Trolls has been an ideal base to explore so many lovely places nearby and further afield. We enjoyed Annecy, Geneva, Evian,St Bernard pass, Aosta, Mont Blanc, as well as lots of mountain walks. Chalet has been very comfortable and so clean. Thank you.

Wonderful house and area. Walked at top of Col de Joux Plane with stunning views of Mont Blanc! Enjoyed walking and cycling locally...Many thanks.

Hi Claire and Ben - Thank you so much for ensuring we had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Claire for patiently answering all my pre-holiday queries. Thank you Ben for sorting out our skiing lessons (after my rather botched attempt) and for all your local advice - it was lovely to meet you. Chalet Le Cochon Noir was warm and welcoming with that traditional wooden chalet feel that we were hoping for. The chalet hosts, Ali and Mark, were great cooks and went out of their way to ensure our requests were catered for. We would be very happy to use you again and recommend you to our friends. The children are already begging us to go again next year!! Have a great 2011 and our thanks again!

Hello Claire and Ben - Just a quick note about another excellent stay. Al was great and very patient. The food was excellent again and although Mark says he can't do the cakes, I for one certainly enjoyed them. I thought the food was excellent last year but most of the boys have said that it was even better this time. So it looks like you have chosen your staff well once again. Thanks again for a great trip and a big thank you to Al and Mark.

We had a wonderful ski holiday. Mark was the perfect host and exquisite cook. Yes we are all heading to the gym to work off those pounds.

Thanks for a wonderful time in Morillon. Quick and efficient transfers to a lovely light and airy chalet with beautiful views made for a great start. It was a joy to be cooked such delicious meals, both breakfast and dinners with too many yummy components to mention. The ski area, to which none of us had been to before, was perfect for our mixed ability group. Additional to the skiing effort we also appreciated the quick visits to the Wed night market in Morillon with all its temptations (the brioche bread and butter pudding as a result for the following night was a triumph) and the trip to Samones - such a pretty village.... all this on top of 9:00am to 5:00pm on the slopes! I am now back at work looking out of the window knowing where I would rather be. Thanks Claire for your honest and efficient help and a massive thanks to Mark ... I am sure you will see many of us again, either in France or perhaps Cornwall....

Just a quick message to say thanks :-) We had a great time, and everyone is now home - tired an in my case hungover, but happy :-) I wish you all the very best for the future.

We had a terrific holiday. It’s a beautiful chalet in a great location. Worth it for the views alone – we could just watch the changing scenery all da! We'd love to see it in winter. Great fun Great location.
